GlobalLEI was created because LEI registration should take minutes, not days. We built a modern service for businesses that need a Legal Entity Identifier without the complex forms, delays, or inflated pricing that too often comes with it.
NordLEI was the first to provide LEI codes in Scandinavia as early as 2014 and is now one of the few approved issuers of LEI codes. Since 2021 NordLEI has been a Local Operating Unit (LOU) accredited by GLEIF, which means we are entrusted with issuing codes ourselves.
