About NordLEI

NordLEI is an accredited issuer of Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs), which are required for companies involved in financial transactions. LEIs are unique ID codes that contain information about a company's or legal entity's structure and ownership, making it possible to identify them worldwide.

NordLEI was the first to provide LEI codes in Scandinavia as early as 2014 and is now one of the few approved issuers of LEI codes. Since 2021 NordLEI has been a Local Operating Unit (LOU) accredited by GLEIF, which means we are entrusted with issuing codes ourselves.

Our ambition is to ensure a correct and smooth registration process, and we are top-ranked in register quality. With us as your provider, you don't need to worry about your LEI being incorrect. All so you can concentrate on what the LEI enables – trading in securities.

Our Mission

Our primary goal is to provide LEI codes with the highest possible data quality and security. As a 100% founder-owned company, we truly care about our customers. We became the first Local Operating Unit (LOU) accredited by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) in Scandinavia, starting on September 22, 2021. We operate as an LOU in eight jurisdictions: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Netherlands. We are also accredited to issue LEI codes for funds according to the ROC Policy on Fund Relationships.
